Toronto Comicon is the latest event to be cancelled due to coronavirus

Andrew Mohan   Mar 13 2020

Various schools and events have been delayed or cancelled due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) health concerns and the Toronto Comicon has followed suit.

As a result, ticket holders have a few options to choose from as compensation.

The first option is to transfer your comicon ticket over to Fan Expo Canada, a similar event that takes place on August 27-30, 2020, for no additional cost.

If you don’t fancy attending Fan Expo, you can defer your ticket to next year’s Toronto Comicon.

The last option that consumers have is to request a full refund, which does not include service fees.

Toronto Comicon hsa also automatically refunded those who purchased photo ops and special event tickets.

The show was due to take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on March 20-22, 2020 before this decision was made.
