Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada temporarily closes as COVID-19 cases rise

Andrew Mohan   Mar 17 2020

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada has decided to close its attraction on March 16 temporarily due to growing concerns with COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The aquarium along with Cineplex facilities were one of the last few major attractions to be shut down.

Despite the closures, Ripley’s will continue to care for its aquatic animals and clean its facilities.

For those that purchased tickets for the aquarium or a specific event, you’ll be able to contact the facility through email to request admission extensions or refunds.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada has not said when it’ll reopen.
