Welcome to Downtown Eye Associates. We are a vision care practice in the Richmond-Adelaide Centre, located in the heart of the Financial District.
Since its inception in 2009, Downtown Eye Associates has become known for its preventative health approach to eye care. We have also paved the way for a new standard in treatment and diagnoses, using only the most advanced ocular diagnostic equipment available outside of a hospital setting. We are one of a handful of clinics of this kind in Ontario.
Our offerings range from comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and injury, to complete contact lens services including all specialty lens products and LASIK co-management. Using the latest diagnostics, we provide a comprehensive analysis of our patients’ vision and eye health and have extensive experience in detecting, imaging and treating common eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.

At Downtown Eye Associates we specialize in the early detection and management of ocular disease in healthy individuals. Our unique combination of qualified doctors and advanced equipment means that many borderline potential disease conditions may be discovered well in advance of symptoms and normal ocular signs. Even more important is that our instruments can reveal subtle indicators of conditions long before they may be visible during a typical examination.
We specialize in detecting, treating and managing the care of patients with Age-Related Macular Degeneration – ARMD or AMD, for short. We also have a thorough treatment approach for Cataracts, Glaucoma and related Intraocular Pressure.
